Farmers worldwide are turning to natural and sustainable build methods to lower their building and energy costs on the farm. Renewable energy options are also offering energy conservation, efficiency and crop opportunities for innovative farmers looking to future-proof their operations.
Strawbale building will be examined as a Natural Build method and demonstrated over a 2 day workshop with Strawbale home-builder Brandon McLane, as featured on Nationwide. During a practical demonstration of a strawbale wall build on site at the busy Organic College Camous Brandon will share his tips for getting the most out of straw and other natural build methods.
Brandon will also be sharing his understanding of the benefit of Geothermal heating systems for farmers, an area of Renewable Energy Technology that he consults and markets in.
